This Whole Wheat Bagel Sandwich with Egg, Sliced Chicken, and Lettuce is an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch. A satisfying and healthy meal made of whole wheat bagels, protein-packed chicken and egg, and fresh lettuce.

Ingredients

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the bagels on a baking sheet and cut them in half.
  • Toast for 5 minutes in the oven.
  • While the bagels toast, fry the eggs in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Remove the toasted bagels from the oven and assemble the sandwiches.
  • Place one lettuce leaf on each bagel's bottom half.
  • On top of the lettuce, place a slice of cooked chicken.
  • Top the chicken with a fried egg.
  • Cover with the bagel's top half.
  • Serve right away and enjoy.
